Marine SABRES brings together an interdisciplinary team of leading experts in the environmental, social, and physical sciences, stakeholder engagement, and science communication. Our consortium is made of 21 partner organisations from eleven European countries.
Ireland
Coordinating Institution
Marine SABRES is coordinated by University College Cork at MaREI, the SFI Centre for Energy Climate and Marine in Cork, Ireland. The Centre comprises over 220 researchers focusing on defined global challenges such as the Energy Transition, Climate Action and the Blue Economy.
Spain
LifeWatch ERIC is the E-Science European Infrastructure for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research, based in Spain.
Portugal
MARE-ARDITI is the Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre of the Portuguese Regional Agency for the Development of Research Technology and Innovation.
Denmark
DTU Aqua is the National Institute for Aquatic Resources, at the Technical University of Denmark. It conducts research, educates at university level and contributes to innovation in sustainable exploitation and management of aquatic resources.

Sjókovin - Blue Resource is a private, not-for-profit research centre.

NWO-NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research is the Dutch national oceanographic institute and principally performs and promotes multidisciplinary and applied marine research addressing important scientific and societal questions pertinent to the functioning of oceans and seas.
